“LIVE FROM STONEWALL” LIVE-STREAM COMEDY ENTERTAINMENT SHOW
AUSTRALIA’S BIGGEST QUEER LIVESTREAM SHOW IS BACK FOR A JUNE PRIDE SPECIAL!


Hot off the heels of our hugely successful first series, the Live from Stonewall ‘Pride Special’ is coming Saturday 27th June at 8pm presented by The Stonewall Hotel, Create & Cast and Undefine Media!


Live from Stonewall fast became the biggest queer livestream show in Australia since we launched in March running for 10 massive weekly episodes. The show gained over 100k viewers, got nominated for a Time Out ‘Time In Award’ in the Best Entertainment category, and recently received a Cultural Resilience Grant from the City of Sydney! Returning once more as a multi-camera LIVE stream community entertainment show starring Sydney drag icon Minnie Cooper and filmed at Sydney’s iconic Stonewall Hotel on Oxford Street. Co-hosted by Steven Milne and Jake Gablonski, the show is packed with glittering variety, surprises, comedy and musical performances, superstar guest DJs plus a host of special guest celebrities, comedians, musicians and community heroes. Things get cheeky with our Sexy Barman Ivan, and we keep it safe and sanitised thanks to the now infamous Pam Demic, the Masked Cleaner!

Big Gay Wedding

There is nothing better the helping someone create a  moment for their special day. Sean and Mathew had a surprise wedding for their close friends. Sean doesn’t like speech’s so he asked me to help him put together for his husband Mathew.What better way to say I love you then with a Kylie Minouge song.  It was joyful watching in all come to life.

Our Fair Lady Of Fringe

Well this Sunday is the day. Opening night of my one woman show “From Chorus Boy To Leading Lady” as part of the Sydney Fringe festival.

Minnie Cooper in her 1st one woman show.

The title says it all really “From Chorus Boy to Leading Lady” combing my 12 years working as a chorus boy in musical theatre with 15 years of working as professional drag queen.

Using musical theatre song’s as the narrative for what it was like for me growing up in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, who’s family was very sports orientated and what challenges I faced being gay, dressing up in girls cloths and enjoying singing ,dancing and Barbie. 

 From the Western Suburb’s of Sydney , to London’s West End to the West of Oxford St.

I often get asked to do interview’s about Drag but just recently I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Peter Eyers he asked me would I sit down and have a chat. Peter is heaven, anyone who knows the full book and score of 42nd Street is my kind of guy. Not only does he know almost everything there is to know about Musical theater. He is also smart and extremely kind. We sat down and chatted not only about my life in drag but also my career  before I became Minnie Cooper. Sydney Cabaret Festival

It was such a joy being a part of the Sydney Cabaret Festival. Trevor Ashley had done such an amazing job putting something like this on. I performed in the Piano bar and It wasn’t the easiest of crowds as it was the opening night Soiree.I think I had their attention in the end. Thank you Tora Hymen you made it all worth while. Celebrity Name Game

When Jacqui asked me would I be her partner on Celebrity Name Game. I thought this could be a gay time and I was right. We had a hoot! What they didn’t show was Grant asked me “How do you know Jacqui?” I said ” She is my Gynaecologist”. Grant was awesome, he was so up for a good time. Gina was lovely but not so great at the answers. We Lost. We had a great time though you can watch a few clips in the video below. Thanks Jacqui for asking me xx

As you may be aware the Sydney Fringe Festival  10th birthday this year.   Minnie Cooper will be helping Sydney Fringe celebrate their 10th Birthday and a decade of Fringe in Sydney! She will be performing her one woman show “From Chorus Boy To Leading Lady” .
